Is there anything better than chili and cornbread on a fall day? I took R to my parents' house this afternoon (she's staying overnight, too-- practicing for when Momma and Dadda go to ET to bring home baby sister), and my dad had made a huge pot of chili. Not just any chili-- my Grandad's chili. My grandfather used to make it for fall family gatherings. Maybe I'm biased, but his recipe is better than any other chili I've ever eaten!
