Today, 3 years ago, my sweet daughter was born under the Ethiopian sun. Although I did not know her then, my thoughts were on her, as it is also the day that we started the process to adopt her. She is just such an amazing child. Most days, I'm in awe of the fact that I get to be her mommy.
Today, we had a "Sweetheart" themed birthday party for her with our family and very closest friends. It was so fun to watch the girls run around and play together at my parents' house.
Yesterday was our 4th R Day, too. A big weekend around here! She was so tiny!!! And now, she is a big pre-school going girl. What a blessing our precious girl is... A sassy, smart, sparkly blessing.
